This week Rez and Shiloh went over the recent news with Rogue One and what was found in the recent Star Wars #20 and the Han Solo#1 comics enjoy!
As of posting this weeks FMI cast we just literally found out a few hours ago that Forest Whitaker is going to be playing Saw Gerrera from the Clone Wars in the live action Star Wars film Rogue One.
Entertainment weekly did a piece on it and I highly suggest checking it out.
In this long delayed segment, George and Shiloh discuss some “recent” news along with the first issue of the final arc of Marvel’s Darth Vader! The video is coming soon, but for now enjoy the audio!
EDIT: And now the video, too!
In this installment George and Shiloh talk news and some of the comics released in the last few weeks. It’s a party and a half, so take a look, why don’t you?
Rebels had quite the roller coaster of a season this time around, by which I mean it was pretty up and down but ultimately a great ride. Building on the success of the smaller and more minimalist but thrilling first season, season 2 certainly gave us a load of great episodes but ultimately proved that bigger isn’t always better. Shattered Empire is a comic book that takes place right at the battle of Endor featured in Return of the Jedi. We are introduced to Poe Dameron`s parents Shara Bey and Kes Dameron, who are both pilots in the battle for the rebellion. Classic characters like Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Leia, Mon Mothma, Admiral Ackbar, C3Po, and R2-D2 are featured prominenetly as well. The very first page has an illustration of Vader fighting Luke Skywalker with the emperor watching on the second death star, which was my favorite illustration in the whole book.
In yet another delayed installment of Faster and More Intense, George and Shiloh discuss last week’s news, including the release of The Force Awakens, and Darth Vader Issue 18. It’s a bunch of fun, so have a watch or a listen.
Now available for your listening pleasure is our special segment on the recent season finale of Rebels! Featuring George, Shiloh, and our good friend Paul Lindberg, we take a dive in to this excellent episode. Have a listen!

God, do I love it when I’m dead wrong with my cautious optimism. What we got had me nearly in tears from the emotional depth of this finale and wracking my brain with the new mysteries we have to solve.
I just recently turned 40 and I’ve grown up with Star Wars. I am just old enough to have experienced most of it first hand and I began to think about how differently each generation will see and understand Star Wars as a whole. To someone of my generation, the reveal of Darth Vader being Luke’s father was a surprise. To younger fans, it’s always been common knowledge. Different generations have been and will continue to be introduced to Star Wars in different ways. Continue reading
