Ahsoka’s Odyssey: The ambiguous fate of Ahsoka analyzed

THRAWN!
Sorry, I have what can only be described as Thrawn Tourettes after that Rebels season 3 trailer. Alas that is not quite what I have to discuss today.
First off, I won’t be so bold as to say that I’ve solved the mystery of Ahsoka and am now going to blow your mind. I mean, I still might blow your mind but I won’t count my mynocks before they hatch. Did that metaphor work? Do mynocks even come from eggs? Anyway, this isn’t your usual clickbait Star Wars theory and analysis reading way too much into little details and coming up with wild conjectures based on nothing. No no, this is all based on connecting the dots. After watching the panel from Celebration discussing Ahsoka’s untold tales something clicked in my mind and while I can’t say that I’ve figured it all out I will say this much… I definitely think I’m onto something. Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Review

star-wars-rebels-season-2-poster-720x1062

Rebels had quite the roller coaster of a season this time around, by which I mean it was pretty up and down but ultimately a great ride. Building on the success of the smaller and more minimalist but thrilling first season, season 2 certainly gave us a load of great episodes but ultimately proved that bigger isn’t always better. Rebels review: Twilight of the Apprentice part 1 & 2

Words fail me… At least short concise sentences summing things up fail me.
From the trailers it was clear this finale was going to big BIG. And while I was certainly excited I was still cautious given how many ideas and characters they would be juggling in just 44 minutes. Other episodes have juggled too many elements and fallen flat in the past and I worried the finale might suffer the same results.
God, do I love it when I’m dead wrong with my cautious optimism. What we got had me nearly in tears from the emotional depth of this finale and wracking my brain with the new mysteries we have to solve.

Henry Hammond: A Star Wars Story

The year was 1993. In the basement of my pal Scott’s house, a cluster of six year olds embraced the pandemonium while our parents partied upstairs. This was my young life, wild and unfocused for the most part. Finally the noise forced our parents to bring out the old electronic babysitter and pop in a movie for us to keep us calm. There were multiple requests but one option rang loudest.
“Star Wars!”

Rebels Review: The Call

Save the Purgill!

No, I will not say whales in space. I’m already sick of this forced meme. I never imagined Rebels taking a detour quite like this. Moreover I didn’t expect this episode to be worthwhile. So, was it? Continue reading

Love, Star Wars

And now, a Valentine’s Day special all about Star wars couples…

Couples have been a surprisingly difficult concept for the Star Wars universe to master over the years. From the budding romance of Luke and his sister Leia, to the strained abusive love story of Anakin and Padme, to the constant bickering of R2-D2 and C-3PO, in the old days it seemed like the only ones who got it right were Han and Leia with their simple flirtations that lead to a son who would turn evil and break up their marriage. That’s our best example. Continue reading
